Week 2
For week 2 i wanted to refine the map and placements of items. I used a 'key' to show what each colour or number represented - for example the dark grey shows a pit. As i was drawing i decided to change part of the original map layout to further stick with kishotenketsu design. Therefore, i removed the secret room on the first floor and moved it up to the second floor as a needed destination to progress. To get to the room the player is now required to jump onto a floating platform from the second floor using the jump boost and proceed to jump to the locked room and acquire the end goal key. For a less annoying experience a teleporter is provided to send the player back to the second floor.
